The man's an idiot. Foodies would prefer TNFNS???
I wouldn't miss either show. Love them both, and they are trying to do different things. Food Network hopes to find a new fresh star, and Bravo --- hmmm what is Bravo trying to do? Entertain us with a look at established chefs?
But one advantage with Food Network is that it's shows are available at comcast's ON DEMAND which means I can watch them whenever I want on a big screen, but I have to TIVO the Bravo shows to watch later on a 14 inch screen.
I hope Lifetime lets Project Runway be ON DEMAND. That would make that deflection almost worth while. Judy
I've never been convinced that anyone on TNFNS can actually cook, which makes it moderately entertaining to watch but more in a jokey way than anythng else.
Agree, this man is an idiot. He admits that in five seasons of TNFNS, the show has produced exactly one Star, even if it is the awesome Guy Fieri. (Strangely, he omits Adam Gertler.)
The screening process for TNFNS is obviously flawed as season after season the group of contestants is weak. And Bob and Suzy from FN are so dull and their comments are trite. If it wasn't for Flay and the guest judges, the show would be unwatchable.
Top Chef and Masters wipe the plate with TNFNS.
