I've read this article and watched Jeff's exit interview on Bravo a few times. I don't blame him. They do open almost every episode showing him getting dressed. (which is just fine by me). There are zillions of people screaming "foul" because of this episode. But it is a game and all about ratings. Jeff thought it was just about the food. Its really about keeping people interested in the "characters". So Fabio remains even after undercooking beef and Lamb (focus group), and Leah remains because she is a skank, Stephan is a somewhat lovable villan, and so on. The had to send someone home, and Jeff, though very cute, wasn't lively enough. Oh btw, there is a nasty rumor going around about Radhika and Jeff. Have you seen it? I think if it were true, They Both would still be there!!!!
He's basically telling it like it is. I don't detect any 'whiny bitch'-iness in his comments at all; he very obviously did not produce the worst dish of the night and Tom has been dismissive of him throughout the competition. There was obvious bias against him, and I've lost some respect for Tom because of it. He was screwed and that's lame.
I don't fault him for complaining about how he was portrayed on the show. But come on, dissing Tom's restaurants and food while he works at the Dildo restaurant in Miami. (Yeah I know DilIdo but come on.) Now that is whining. He can only dream that he will be have a 100th of Tom's popularity and fame. And just like last year's contestant complaining about "Tom not liking them" is ridiculous. He has other things to worry about I am sure he doesn't care one way or the other about most of the contestants.
I'm hearing whining. He's trashed Josie in interviews, as well as Colicchio, and "too much going on on the plate" is a valid criticism.
All the big ole titty baby is doing is getting himself black balled by every chef out there. (((MUAH)))
Whats the Jeff Radhika rumor?
I like Jeff and didn't feel he was whiney, hey he has his opinions and he has a right to voice them,as we do,and I agree Tom hasn't been very nice to him,and he has a right to say so. What he's not allow to say anything against the show,Tom,come on we do it!
Truth is, though, I can remember times when people have really loved Jamie's food, Hosea's food, Stefan's, but I can only remember people really, really liking Jeff's tomato sorbet. (The girls pinning ribbons on Jeff and Hosea don't count for me. It's about the cuteness.) His plates looked beautiful, but there were frequent complaints about the flavor and not only from Colicchio. And, for that matter, I remember the judges complaining about too many flavors in other seasons (Malarkey!), so I don't think it's all some response to Jeff.
I think that Jeff was probably the most technically competent chef after Stefan this season. But from the looks of things, he couldn't figure out how make his food simple enough to let his technique shine through. Also, he whined a lot on the show and seemed like he felt entitled to win because he was always, "busting his ass," or "doing more than the other contestants combined." Uh, a lot of mediocre food doesn't entitle you to anything, dude.
someone wrote some sh*t in the reply section in the Defamor report. Supposedly he has a "friend" that is a PA on the show. I think these are terrible allogations to be lobbing around out there.
I don't remember him whinning on the show at all. I felt bad for him because he was so often in the top three Quickfire, but never won. He should have a show that has him working out and then cooking a healthy meal.
Sorry I upset a few of you Jeff fans but I calls it likes I sees it. Jeff was mediocre on his best day and could never understand why his dishes failed most times. As for being treated like meat or whatever, Blond Boy knew the camera was there all the time. Why not put all your clothes on before exiting the bathroom? Don't cry foul now cause it makes you look like an asshole.cb
Jeff being a very sexy asshole.
I wouldn't say he is a "whiny bitch" I think he's just expressing how he felt while being on the show. He’s definitely not as whiny as some past contestants. It also bothered me that people were saying he was being whiny during his exit interview. Those interviews are taped MINUTES after the chef is kicked off, obviously they’re a bit bitter. He shouldn't have been sent home last episode, due to the fact that he did not produce the worst dish, but it's all about the ratings and there's no way Bravo would send home Fabio and Stefan. If overcooking venison doesn't send you home, then Ariane shouldn't have been sent home a few weeks ago for the lamb and Leah's ass should have been kicked out the door. But this show has been going down hill since last season, so what do you expect?
He set himself up as the "pretty boy" from the very beginning. How concerned he was about his hair while he was cooking and that silly wink in the opening. Then he became the whiner. How often did you see him smile? He was sullen and pouty in almost everyone interview.
