Chef Andrew is from Fort Lauderdale, Fl and is currently a Sous Chef in New York but his bio does not list the restaurant. Ah. a mystery!

Chef Nikki is from New York and is Chef and Co Owner of 24 Prince in New York

Chef Nimma is from Peachtree City, GA and currently a chef at Repast in Atlanta, GA

In our post ,down below, we introduced the season 4 chefs and provided the link to their Bravo Bio's. In addition, you can now access their bios over on our side bar to the right.

But let's learn a little more about where they currently hang their chef hats. Over the next few days we will highlight the chefs and their current haunts.




Chef Antonia is from Los Angeles and is currently the Executive Chef at the popular L.A. restaurant Foxtail




Chef Dale is from Chicago but is currently a Sous Chef at Buddakan, one of New York's hottest restaurants. Think being from Chicago will give him a home town advantage?




Chef Eric is from Chappaqua, NY and is the Executive Chef at Circa restaurant in San Francisco





Chef Jennifer is from Brooklyn, NY and is the Executive Chef at the popular San Francisco restaurant, COCO500

So there are the first 4. We will highlight others in the days to come.

We have just learned the date and time for...

Season 4 of Top Chef Chicago.

Wednesday March 12th 2008 at 10pm Eastern - Pacific /9pm Central


New date, but same time and channel.

We had reported the date as the 19th but have learned from " The Dish" over on Bravo.com that the date is the 12th. Here is what "The Dish" has to say.

"OK, Top Chef fans. We can finally tell you .... Top Chef: Chicago premieres MARCH 12TH! 16 new chefs will take their skills to "The Windy City" to compete for $100,000 in seed money to help open a restaurant, furnished by the makers of the Glad family of products, a feature in Food & Wine magazine, a showcase at the Annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, a gourmet dream vacation in the French Alps, and will earn the title of "Top Chef."

Your favorites -- Padma, Tom, Gail, and Ted -- all return to the Judges' Table. And, of course, a host of amazing guest judges.
Let the flames begin!"

Lorraine Bracco and Chef Harold Host Almost Famous Chef Competition

"The search for the next big culinary star is underway, with more than 60 culinary students sharpening their knives in hopes of making it to the finals competition in Napa Valley taking place March 7-10, 2008, where they will compete in three categories: the Harvest Mystery Basket, Signature Dish and People's Choice Tasting Gala."

"To continue the passion and excitement of the Almost Famous Chef Competition, S.Pellegrino will team up with Bravo Top Chef winner Harold Dieterle, chef/owner of Perilla restaurant in New York, along with actress Lorraine Bracco (The Sopranos), president of Bracco Wines. Dieterle, who will serve as the master of ceremonies and celebrity chef at the finals competition in Napa Valley, will also host the Northeast regional event being held at the Institute of Culinary Education in February. Bracco will co-host the People's Choice Tasting Gala along with Dieterle to announce the 2008 S.Pellegrino Almost Famous Chef winner."

Chef Tre Keeps Cooking

Top Chef competitor Tre Wilcox recently left his post as chef de cuisine at Abacus, but he's had no shortage of offers. He just inked a deal with Houston-based Chantal Cookware to be the celebrity chef for its Copper Fusion line.

Thursday night, Chantal founder and CEO Heida Thurlow will host a dinner for notable foodies at the Preston Hollow estate of Cindy and Howard Rachofsky. For the occasion, Tre will show his stuff with winter black truffles by whipping up some poached Maine lobster with black truffle risotto. "

Top Chef Cookbook and Game

That is right TC fans. A Top Chef cookbook is going to be released in April.

"Bravo Media Serving Up 'Top Chef' Book

Bravo Media’s merchandising division is prepping its first book release, joining forces with publisher Chronicle Books to bring out Top Chef: The Cookbook on April 2.

Weighing in at 256 pages, the hardcover volume is meant to serve as the official companion volume to Top Chef, and is lavishly stocked with 100 recipes culled from the first three seasons of the show.

The book also gives viewers an under-the-toque look at the making of Top Chef, offering interviews with the contestants, judges and production crew, and features an introduction penned by lead judge Tom Colicchio.

The cookbook retails at $29.95.“Top Chef fans are as passionate about the food on the show as they are about the contestants,” said Jason Klarman, executive vp, marketing and digital, Bravo. “This book serves them the best of both, allowing them now to enjoy the show in their kitchens as well as their living rooms.”

Bravo Media was formed in June 2007 as a multifaceted adjunct to the linear cable network, encompassing a clutch of enterprises like publishing, merchandising, gaming and talent management. In time, the Bravo unit plans to begin offering viewers experiential interactions with its network brands, a push that will include themed pleasure cruises and a food tour.
