Geez, whats the point of a final 3 when one is almost a guaranteed loser? Well for drama's sake I hope Lisa pulls an Upset, instead of lookin like shes got an upset stomach.

i think the judges should look at what a contestant has done through the entire season because Antonia should not be going home for undercooking beans. Lisa was on the bottom 6 times!
Lisa might not be the worst chef this season, but she should have been gone within the first 4 weeks. All she knows how to make is bacon.

Would people be as excited about the finale if three, talented, friendly, gracious people were featured as the final three ? Probably not.

I was upset at last night's decision. I'll admit, I liked Antonia. She was charming and sexy. She made simple food w/o pretentions and flare [which can often mask a chef's inability to deal with basic cooking 101].
But, alas, we all know that it must come down to Steph and Richard. Lisa, sorry to say is like the 3rd season version of Casey. By which I mean, finale filler. BTW, if that c*nt Lisa wins this - I will lose all respect for Colicchio.
How come Antonia gets sent home for undercook peas, but Lisa can undercook shrimp and screw up rice twice and still not get sent home?

In the second season, when Top Chef started giving prices to Elimination Challege winners, one of the Top Chef 1 alums, wrote in a blog something like, "gosh they're probably going to give away Volvo's in the next season" (or somthing to that effect).
It's coming true. First, the shameless product placements, and now the uber generous prices for each winning chef per challenge--European trips, wine-tasting trips, complete kitchen appliances, and a new car. Wow!

Next season, the producer will have to find a way to incorporate previous performance into the elimination process. Even if Lisa cook the best food in the finale, there's no way is it going to justify her winning TOP CHEF title.

I cracked up at her transparent jealously when she said "You got a car" to Richard, and reveled in her pettiness when she demanded congratulations for only being the 2nd shittiest chef of the night.
I'm glad I get to watch this disgusting fucking loser self-destruct on tv :)
I about gagged on my undercooked beans when Antonia was sent packing! She was sent home for that? She made ONE bad dish! All her others showed she knows what she's doing (okay, unless she's paired with, who else, Lisa who doesn't like polish sausage). Gimme a break!
What are these judges thinking to keep Lisa? Over the weeks she has proven that she can't cook, can't follow directions, can't lead, doesn't know how to work as a team, repeatedly throws the other chefs under the bus to cover her own ineptitude, and has a constant chip on her shoulder that I'd love to knock off. She's consistently a lousy chef. Period. I don't even know what she's doing on this show in the first place. Is she a joke, or what?
I have to believe that she's kept on the show for ratings. After all, look how much she's despised? That makes for great drama. But it's sad that other really good chefs where sacrificed for this, and ultimately it hurts the credibility of the show itself.
If she wins because she manages to pull one great dish out of her a** then it's the end of Top Chef for me.
Well first congrats to Richard and Stephanie. As for Lisa, she may be a decent cook I don't know. But as they have said many times during judging this is TOP CHEF not top cook. She has proved over and over she is not a Top chef. She is not a leader. How can you lead a team of cooks if everyone hates you?
Oh and Chef Biatch, you are too nice, Nick is obviously just a hater. Ignore him. If he hates it here why does he keep coming back?

I seriously doubt Richard is fake. The competition is so stressful, I'm sure if he was fake he would certainly at least said something distasteful at some point. You how much the editors and producers love those nasty sound bytes... They probably show every nasty rude things each contestant does...
I'm very impressed with Stephanie's sportsmanship. She purposedly put people together that she thought would work well... at least antonia, richard, and herself!
Also, I too cannot stand Lisa . I love watching reruns of top chef but I cannot watch 10 minutes in which they rake Dale over the coals and send him away. However, Antonia's food at the cocktail party did not look good at all. Lots of muted browns. Why oh why did she do the combinations... Lisa's food looked pretty on the plate and I have no trouble with sweet food. I would have licked it I'm sure.

I loved it when Lisa had to shame Richard and Stephanie into giving her congratulations. She thinks that is going to validate her 'sucking but not losing' the elimination challenge.
She grumbled and moaned that they thought the wrong person got sent home. Newsflash: The wrong person DID get sent home, cuz it was suppopsed to be YOU, Lisa!
I don't think there is any way she can win Top Chef because she hasn't cooked anything good ever.
This was such an appalling turn of events. Lisa is vile.
If she comes any closer to winning, I am swearing off TC altogether until or unless they switch to an accumulated points system of judging.

In Bravo's attempt to create more drama and to increase ratings by keeping Lisa around, I believe it probably may have backfired on them. Many viewers are clearly disappointed by the judges decision to keep her around. This may well drive lots of viewers away from watching TC again.
Right now while I am disappointed that Lisa in the F3 I will continue to watch Top Chef in future seasons. However, if she wins (God Forbid) I might have to reconsider that.
The conspiracy theories do not hold water. Do you really think All these top judges are doing what they are told. The fact is that lisa never had the worst dish, she was always second worse. Like Mike in season 2 she hung on even farther. Difference is that no one hated Mikey. There was this same crap season 2 when Marcel made it to the finals. Everyone hated him and wanted Sam. If anything I think it proves this isnt faked, making the tough decisions in the face of fan criticism!

Lisa just has to be one of the nastiest people in the history of the show. I think they kept her there on purpose because they know we hate the biatch! I think she'll screw up and either Richard or Stephanie will win. At least I hope so. I liked Antonia. She was my pick for fan favorite.
