On Your Marks, Get Set...
by Chef Back Burner

Are you ready? Because we here at Blogging Top Chef are. My co-horts in cooking have been keeping you up to date on all the news and upcoming events. Meanwhile, we got an opportunity this year we never had before. Yes, Chef Biatch wasn’t lying...We got Episode 1...So...we’ve been passing our “Sneak Peek” video around the kitchen and, like Chef Biatch, I have to say...You are in for something good! Now, I have enjoyed the last 3 seasons of our beloved show and was looking forward to this season with equal enthusiasm. I will admit to not being sure about it being shot in Chicago before it’s been set in New York, probably out of proximity to my own location. However, I now see that Chicago has got it going on.
Without giving much away I’ll tell you how to prepare for this episode! Get your beverage of choice and maybe order a...pizza. Then sit down and enjoy...enjoy some of your favorite guest judges...enjoy some of the best cooking shots they've had, ever...enjoy getting to know the cheftestants better than any of the past seasons have initially allowed. These “characters” are fun and overall nice though competitive and in possession of some of the dirtiest mouths we’ve heard...It’s great...No wonder Chef Biatch liked it...just kidding!
Yah, I have my first impressions
- Andrew...militant.
- Antionia...strong.
- Dale...overconfident.
- Erik....big softy.
- Jennifer...cool.
- Lisa...nice...just nice.
- Manuel...Carlos: the next generation.
- Mark...weird.
- Nikki....too smiley.
- Nimma...introverted.
- Richard...molecular gastr-whatever.
- Ryan...cutie patootie.
- Spike...ummmmm what?
- Stephanie...normal...no matter how hard she tries.
- Valerie...which-one-is-she?
- Zoe...cool two.

Glad to have found your site, I've loved the past shows... and look forward to seeing your posts for the upcoming season. I haven't had time to really get to watch your preview of the upcoming season but will (hopefully) get to check it out before I get to watch the first show tonight (I work till 11:30 pm and will be watching a later show so I'm kinda leery of checking out your site because it might spoil the show) lol
Hey, do you have any idea when season 4 will be aired in Canada? I'm a huge fan of this show and hate knowing that season 4 starts tonight and I'm missing out!
did anybody notice that the poll asked whether or not he lesbian couple, zoi and....what's her name? had an advantage...22% said yes, and 78% said no...and Bravo circled yes. am I crazy or does that make no sense?
Yes they must have crircled yes to keep ratings up!! Also Andrew has a sous position at Le Cirque and cant't put together a fundametal mayo. Damn my dishwashers can do that for me!1
zoe is so cool that she spells it zoi. ugh. i hope she's next off.

ok, let me first say... I used to cook with Manuel. HE IS BAD ASS. you might not see it yet, but hopefully he'll get a chance to show his stuff. He was tournant at Le Cirque 2000.
the other thing...Andrew? anyone who doesn't know what goes into mayonaise shouldn't be cooking on this show! what a douche.
