It’s Contest Time.

As we announced on Sunday, we have prizes to give away. We have been busy cooking up some contest ideas and are ready to launch the first one.

Now before you ask... No, we do not have a chef to give away… but that would have been sweet.

So let’s get started:

Contest #1 (ok it is a raffle)

We will need your first name and last initial (in case we have several of you with the same first name) and the state or country (for our international readers) in the email. Nope, we do not need addresses, phone numbers or the name of your pet. We do need your email address so that the winner can be contacted and your prize can be mailed to you.

That’s it. All you have to do is enter.

This contest/raffle begins today and the winning email entry will be drawn on Tuesday January 30th. The winner will be announced, here in the kitchen, January 31st. We will only announce your first name, last initial and your location.

Now onto Contest #2 - Poetry
OK go get a piece of paper and a pen. You might want to write this down. ….we’ll wait.

We will kick off contest 2 next Wednesday, but we are going to give you a head start. That’s right... this one will take a little effort.

Here we go.

Write your own TC poem

regarding either:
Season 2 of Top Chef… Or…
Which Chef you would like to see win… Or….
Your favorite Chef or judge.

We will begin posting the poetry next Wednesday. You have until January 24th to enter your poetry. All poems must be emailed to us. Again we will need the email address to contact the winners. Be sure to title your poem.

Now, how will we pick winners for contest 2?

That is the fun part.

We are going to let you, the readers pick. Beginning January 24th, we will have a poll with the name of each poem. You will have the opportunity to vote for the poem you like best. The poll will be open from the 24th until the 30th. On the 31st we will post the winning results.

We are still working out the number of prizes for this contest and will give you more information next Wednesday when contest 2 begins but you can start thinking about what you want to write.
