Ugh. I don't care who wins, because any outcome is unsatisfying. Tom clearly has a hard-on for Sam and I'm betting he'll win. His food has been consistently well-executed but the guy is a stealth prick-weasel. "I'm not that guy" - uh, yeah, you are. Elia's shown herself to be weak and whiney, Ilan can only do saffron-based dishes and is an asshole, and Marcel's work has failed to make an impression for most of the season (other than for its oddness). They're no Harolds, in other words...
Last night's episode was certainly a big WOW. And I give Bravo props for not doing a dramtic buildup (as was done on PR with Keith) about someone being sent home.
It's not my place to moralize about what happened with Cliff and Marcel. And it would be hypocricy if I did (let's just say I'm VERY grateful there's never been a camera around on some of my drunken nights). I felt bad for everyone involved. Things got out of hand.
Anon, you're right. No one this season is Harold. Let it go. If you find the contestants so unsatisfying to watch, then dont. I had the same comments earlier on this season. But I kept watching. And as long as I continued to watch, I figure why complain. I let go of the fact that no one's making potato gnochi this season and focused on who's the best chef in THIS lot.
Bravo's taken a lot of lumps for this season of TC for various reasons. And yet....people ARE watching. And I'm one of them. Every Wednesday.
Last night's episode left a really bad taste in my mouth (no cooking pun intended). Now I need a "feel good" Hawaii finale...one where everyone gets along and acts like decent human beings. Maybe even enjoy each other's company for once. Is that asking too much?
cI really don't care who wins at this point, which is upsetting because I liked it before it became ALL about bashing Marcel. That's all this freaking season has been! Maybe it's because they eliminated all the women first, and so too much testosterone led to fighting.
I agree with anonymous 10:17 that Tom has a hard-on for Sam. I wouldn't be surprised if he won.
The only way Bravo could redeem this season is... well... umm... this is a tough one... maybe if they brought back all the other chefs a la project runway: "we want to make sure the right people are going to hawaii"
I wonder if they are going to do a challenge where they bring back other chefs.
Plus, what are they doing about the fan favorite competition? When are they announcing?
Shame on Bravo, the producers, the chefs and the Bravo personnel who were around when this happened. It has been pointed out they are even followed to the bathroom and they are never left completely alone.
I personally don't really care who wins at this point as it will seem to be a shallow victory at best.
I will not be watching the finals, you did lose a viewer last night; although, I will probably follow to the end on this or other boards.
Said it once and will say it again...... SHAME ON YOU BRAVO!!!! You have no taste and where are you getting your demographics about what people want to watch?
I will watch this to the bitter end. However, let's hope that the next Top Chef will be more about the cooking and less about the dishin.' It's the talent that draws me; the sheer joy of competition. This descent into immature personality hell has turned me off. I don't care who wins.
Bring back Josie and Carlos and Mia and Mikey, even Betty. I miss them.

Congratulations to all four.

Well said, peachpie. Bravo.
