As we turn the corner of this long... no new episode week, here are the scores for the remaining chefs. We know that each week, no matter how well a chef has done, they can lose a challenge and be sent packing.

Betty started with a bang and is whimpering, Marcel is moving up the ranks, and Sam is clearly on top and staying there.

Thanks for doing this. The results confirm my suspicions about the rankings of each chef.

Yesterday I listed to one of the radio interviews Tom Choliccio did in November.

One of the things he said was that past challenge results do not factor in weekly judging. So it doesn't really matter if someone's won a lot or been in the top. A single dish, on any given challenge, can get them sent home.

That being said, I don't like the preview clip with Sam saying it was his toughest challenge. Gulp.

OK, my take on this is Sam is almost a clone of Harold and that may be by his own design, but I do not see him winning TC2...although, I do think he has won many hearts. I think the strongest contenders remain Cliff and Ilan with Elia and Marcel right in there. Interesting post by peachpie, Thanks for the interview info.

I don't really like any of them at this point. They're all pretty mean, even Sam, with his inappropriate provocation of Frank on the last episode. I guess Ilan would have to be my fav of the remaining chefs.

However, look at what it says on the Bravo TV website about Sam in his bio: " Sam forges ahead and is sure to surprise the viewers on this season of "Top Chef."" Is this a spoiler? Why would they say this? On the other hand, perhaps they write their own bios. Who knows?
