Already posted my comments about this episode. But have to say, Social's website is awesome and am hoping the restaurant is as fabulous as it promises to be. Very interesting menu....with a mac & cheese offering! Very elegant and upscale.

Once again, congrats to Ilan!

Quality episode. Felt like we finally saw challenges where the chefs had hard core opportunity to show us what they're made of.

When the ingredients for quick fire were presented, and when the dishes went out of that kitchen for elimination, it was all TOP CHEF.

Sad to see Marisa and Josie go. (Hugs ladies). Congratulations to the winners. Ilan, Sam and Cliff are looking really strong.

I never really liked Marisa, and I felt she should have already been gone, but I liked Josie. I'm sad to see her go.

Hi, Even though I totally agreed with the judges on their decisions this week, I would really like to get some feedback on a question I have. Wasn't the judge this week, Michelle Berstein, on the same show as Padma on the Food Channel? If you have ever watch the Food Channel over the years, you know that Padma was a TOTAL DISASTER on that show!!! She was really big into wearing outfits like she wears on Top Chef; while having a hard time even working a blender and fiquring out what herbs she was working with!!
She is definitely not a qualified judge for this show (at least not in my opinion). And now, I am wondering what actual qualifications Michelle Bernstein really had???

If you watch any of Iron Chef America, you would have seen Michelle win her battle. She is an excellant chef.

This may not get read since it's an older post, but I've gotta "go there".

I've seen plenty of critical, often downright rude, comments made on Bravo's site about Padma. And most of them are made to her on her own blog.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. So here's mine: I don't care WHAT she wears. It's not like she's Jenna Jamison on prime time. Who cares? And since WHEN did the attire of the judges matter?

As far as her qualifications go, I can't really address that in depth. I only know that the way I've seen her bashed about is getting old. Really old.

She's on the show. She wears what she wants. Let it go.
