Happy Campers
By Chef Biatch
So, here is my take on the show... I actually liked it….. alot.
Loved the Quick Fire challenge. Make those chefs use their brains.

Sure, they will never need to use Cheetos or Fig Newtons to finish off a four star meal but how fun is it to see them work with those ingredients?..... VERY!

Camp Glucose, what a fond childhood memory including name, huh? Oh well, it serves a good purpose and that’s all that matters. Kids seemed happy, Chefs took the challenge seriously. Well, almost.

Did they cheat? Dunno.

Did Betty cheat? Dunno.
I can understand the confusion with Betty’s cookies. However, not sure it’s bad enough to kick her off the show though.

Mia, not cool to throw a teammate under the bus then lie about it. Michael needs to kiss Mia’s feet for blowing the whistle, otherwise he was a goner.
So, get ready for a big elimination sometime soon, nobody was booted,
Three extra chefs here. Team challenge anyone?

Fond childhood memory. LOL.
Great Chef Biatch. That is not the best name for a camp but it works for what they go through.
Betty, you gotta love her. She sparkles. And apparently she can cook.
Her faux pas might not have been bad enough to kick her off; but it was reason not to give the win to her team. No one should have won if no one lost. Yet the spectacle of taking the win away from pizza man (didn't Betty suggest the pizza?) would not have sat well either.
It was a very unsatisfying outcome.
NO, not another team challenge!!! We need to be able to assess each chef's individual style and talent. Team challenges just seem like a cheap cop-out. grrrrrr.
I agree. I'm over the team challenges for the time being. Season 1 was more balanced. Oh, and you have to keep in mind the editing. I'm sure Betty didn't come up with the pizza idea first it was just edited to look that way. I'm sure the team gave credit where credit was due. And although I love Betty to pieces, her cookies were crap. She did not carry the team this time around. Perhaps, if they actually get a chance to cook on their own we can avoid all this 'misunderstanding' of the rules!
