Thanks for writing, and nice job with the blog! Not to spoil the show for you, but the winner is.....

....I actually don't know. I think my episodes should be coming up shortly. I had a great time working with Tom, Padma, Gail, and the colorful (to say the least) batch of young chefs for Season 2. We pulled some laaaaaate nights (two days we shot for 12 hours and didn't wrap until 4 a.m.) on my episodes, enjoyed some great food, some questionable food, and some very loud arguments. I can't wait to see them in final form.

In other important news, I'm very pleased that some online bloggers have been comparing me to the adorable Ilan--calling him a young Ted Allen (!) I think the comparison might be doing him a bit of a disservice, but I'll take the compliment. I'm not so sure about those giant, twinkly earrings, though....
