Chef Tidbits and Treats
Sam Talbot won the first Quick Fire challenge.

Fire was the key word since it was a flambé challenge. To learn more about Sam, please enjoy the following two tidbits.

The Bravo bonus videos also reveal that the chef's went shopping for the quick fire challenge. They were given $30 and 30 minutes to shop. They shopped at Wild Oaks Marketplace.

Suyai Steinhauer was the first one asked to "pack her knives and go". We really did not get a chance to know her.

r.e. Bravo bonus videos
revile or reveal?
Thanks for that catch. We appreciate the help.
I am glad Lee Anne is going to be around this season -- the cooking demo was great! While I am not sure that I'd ever mix American cheese with escargot, at least now I have an idea of how Ilan did it!

take care, thanks 4 the blog,
my comments on top chef 2: i liked the first season of top chef, but i don't recall the music being so damn intrusive as to make the episodes unwatchable. i almost had to turn on my closed caption mode on this first episode of season 2 just to try to catch what the heck they were saying. really really really annoying. and totally unnecessary. i hope they don't screw this season up the way season 3 of project runway was screwed up.
please - hold the excess drama and faux conflicts. or else bravo will lose me a viewer to season 2.
aside from that, (and i know you're not affiliated with bravo), i like your blogspot. it's colorful and readable.
hope to come back and see what you're up to...if top chef 2 can manage to tone down the intrusive music and keep me as a viwer.
